AAT - The Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT) does not accredit individual
courses, or course providers. Attendance at this course will
count towards AAT structured CPD.
ICAEW -
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in
England and Wales (ICAEW)
does not accredit individual courses, or course providers, for
Continuing Professional Education purposes. If these courses are
of relevance to you, they could count as structured CPE within
the ICAEW guidelines.
ICAS -
The Institute of Chartered Accountants in Scotland (ICAS) does not accredit individual
courses or course providers for Continuing Professional Learning.
If these courses are relevant to you, they could count towards
structured CPL.
IPD -
The Institute of Personnel Development (IPD), like ICAEW, does not accredit
individual courses or course providers. Attendance at these
courses will count towards CPD where the subject matter is
relevant to your work.
IPPM -
The Institute of Payroll and Pensions
Management (IPPM) has a
voluntary CPD programme. Attendance on these courses will help
build your CPD portfolio. Payroll Check Ltd were appointed as an
IPPM Approved Training Provider in 1998.

Payroll Check Ltd is an independent company specialising in
providing payroll training and other support services for the
payroll profession. Philip Bird heads the company.
Training - A range of payroll related training courses are
available. Courses are also available in-house, and can be
specially tailored to meet clients specific needs.
Consultancy - If you need help with a specific payroll
related project, we can help. We can conduct a 'test audit' of
payroll procedures to ensure compliance with tax and NIC
regulations. We can also assist with the selection of new staff

Lecturers
Our lecturers are all experts in their field. All are
Fellows of the IPPM and have practical experience of running
payroll offices (except John
Pidgeon) as well as in payroll
training and consultancy. The combination of knowledge and
practical hands-on experience of our lecturers helpds us to
deliver quality payroll training to delegates.

MIDM (most training courses), John Phillips
FIPPM (International Payroll course) and John Pidgeon FIPPM (Payroll System course).
We have developed an on-line booking form as an option to completing a paper booking form. The on-line service does not replace completing a booking form because we recognise that some people and organisations do not like sending information via the internet.

IPPM, AAT and IHRIM Europe
Members: To
qualify for discount please enter your IPPM/AAT/IHRIMEurope
membership number in the relevant box above.
Payment: There is no need to send
payment with your booking - you will be invoiced. Invoices
must be paid before the start of the course, and within 21 days
of the invoice date. Late payments will not qualify for any
discounts.
Confirmation: You
will receive written confirmation of course bookings. You
will also receive directions to the venue, and other course
information before the course.
Accommodation: If you require overnight accommodation you
should contact the course venue direct (we will provide you with
contact details). Any accommodation arrangements will be
direct between yourself and the venue, although you may qualify
for a discount because you are attending one of our courses.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be submitted in writing no
later than 21 days before the course/s. An administration
fee of £50 plus VAT will be charged for each cancellation.
Cancellations not giving 21 days notice will not be entitled to a
refund, and the full course fee will be payable.
Substitutions may be made at any time before the start of the
course.
All courses are no smoking (although delegates nay smoke during
breaks depending on restructions applied by the venue).
Neither sound or video recording is allowed during courses.
